Here are the facts:

6’8 Adam Klapka

6’7 Logan Stanley

Both the Calgary Flames winger and the Winnipeg Jets defenseman dropped the gloves at center ice in what can only be called a giant heavyweight fight.

Stanley ended up bringing him to the ice and then he gave a big flex and then pounded the glass as he headed to the box, firing up the crowd.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Stanley this fired up.

The fight took place moments after the Flames took the 1-0 lead thanks to a tally by Nazem Kadri.

Stanley felt the need to motivate his teammates and fire up the fans at home, and I have to say I’m personally convinced.
