Look who's at the top now!

Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals started the year slowly, most likely because of their change of head coach and the new system of Barry Trotz they had to learn. Most thought the Russian sniper would never dominate the league again since he now had to be responsible defensively and not free to do whatever he wanted on the ice, contrary to previous years. Seems like Ovy proved everyone wrong. Withot making too much noise, the Caps' star player has been clinmbing the standings and yesterday he became the NHL top goal scorer by netting his 28th and 29th goals of the season against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
