Lowry crushes Green with one of the most beautiful hits of the season.

The only thing that wasn't perfect about this hit, was the fact that once again a scrum ensued after a perfectly clean, solid body check. The Winnipeg Jets were taking on the Washington Capitals, and were on the penalty kill while already being down 4-1 late in the second period,. That's when Adam Lowry, the Jets leader in hits this season, took it upon himself to try and ignite a spark in his team. Lowry did so by landing an absolutely crushing body check on Mike Green, one of the best checks of the entire NHL season thus far. Unfortunately it wasn't enough to get his team energized and the Jets would go on to lose 5-1. Here's the video of this incredible hit.
