The Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins really went at one another during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals with big time physical plays made by both teams, and questionable physical plays also made by both teams.
However things really boiled over in the third period after the Penguins erupted offensively and created a three goal lead, leading to an extremely rare fight in the Stanley Cup Final.
Making it even more surprising was the fact that the two men who dropped the gloves were both star players with Nashville defenseman P.K. Subban and Pittsburgh forward Evgeni Malkin going toe to toe.
Unfortunately the fight was largely uneventful, and we have to put that one mostly on Malkin who appeared to be holding on tightly to Subban, while Subban appeared to be far more willing to fight than Malkin.
