There's just no excuse for this kind of stuff in hockey. Mid way through the third period of the New York Islanders vs Philadelphia Flyers match up tonight, the Islanders Matt Martin sent the Flyers Luke Schenn face first into the boards with a vicious hit from behind. Schenn who has missed timed already this year from a similar play against the Avalanche luckily seemed to be ok after the play.
