Matt Niskanen channels his inner Scott Stevens on this monster hit! (VIDEO)

All we can say is ouch. In Wednesday night's matchup between the Flyers and Washington Capitals, Scott Laughton was the recipient of a devastating, but clean hit from Matt Niskanen. Laughton picked up the puck in the neutral zone and as he crosses the Caps' blueline, he cuts back toward the middle of the ice. Big mistake. Laughton got absolutely levelled by Niskanen, who he never saw coming. Laughton went straight to the locker room and did not return. We sure hope he is going to be ok, because holy crap what a hit that was.
