Matthews and the Leafs in disbelief after goal is overturned late in the 3rd.

The Toronto Maple Leafs were not the least bit happy about this call on Monday night.

The Leafs were done 2 - 1 against the Arizona Coyotes on late in the third period of their match up, but it seemed like once against Leafs' superstar forward Auston Matthews was playing the role of hero.

With just over three minutes left in the period Matthews buried the puck behind Arizona Coyotes goaltender Antti Raanta, however the goal would go to review and was eventually overturned by the National Hockey League officials on the ice.

While there's little doubt that Leafs forward Zach Hyman interfered with Raanta on the play, the Leafs clearly felt Raanta had plenty of time to get back into position for the save.

It's certainly debatable, but the Leafs didn't like it causing Matthews to roll his eyes when the call was announced and resulting in Mike Babcock giving the officials an earful.
