A brutal head shot.
It looks like one member of the Boston Bruins may have some extra time off during Christmas.
The National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety has announced that Talbot will have an in person hearing for his nasty hit to New Jersey Devil Jiri Tlusty.
An in person hearing is usually reserved for multi game suspensions, and given the fact that Tlusty was vulnerable, didn't have the puck, and was struck directly in the head, multiple games for Talbot would not be a surprise.
Talbot will likely not be in the line up for Boston's Tuesday night match up against the Blues, but the real question now is how long his Christmas vacation will be?
