Monster hit in Europe produces one of the most violent impacts of the year.

Things got physical during a game that will determine relegation and promotion for the Swedish Hockey League.

During a match up between Leksands and Moras, a Moras player absolutely drilled a Leksands player with what looked like a fairly dirty hit. Although it's hard to tell, the player delivering the hit does appear to leave his skates based on how his trajectory was altered by the impact of the hit. 

Needless to say the Leksands player was in a bad way after this and had to leave to the locker room while doubled over in pain. We expect to have more details once we get our hands on a better quality video of the incident.
