This is why Milan Lucic signed a 7-year $42 Millions contract. The definition of a power-forward is to create offense while using his size and forechecking ability. On this play, Milan Lucic came a little late on the forecheck but still delivered a bone-crushing hit to Nashville Predators' Austin Watson. The Preds' forward wanted a piece of Big Lou after the whistle and got a 2 minutes roughing penalty. 

Lucic then scored his eleventh of the season, seconds later on the power-play, thanks to Watson's lack of discipline.
