Who needs Big Z when you have Big D (Video)

The Bruins started life without their big man. Zdeno Chara is out with a knee injury that will side line him for the next couple weeks at least. So Dougie Hamilton decided to step up. He scored a goal and added two assists in the Bruins victory. Boston drafted Hamilton knowing he will be a solid defense man in the NHL and he definitely showed what he is made of tonight, he was dominant in every asset of the game and showed the Bruins that he is ready to pick up the slack of his D partner not being in the line up. Tuukka Rask aslo had a solid night turning aside 32 of 33 shots he faced. The game started with an emotional Canadian National anthem that was sung by the fans in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal and were broadcasted in all three arenas at the same time to honor the two fallen soldiers.
