NHL player suffers gruesome injury in freak accident

Martin Havlat was the victim of one of the strangest injuries in a game against the Washington Capitals. He gets ridden hard into the boards by Caps' forward Jason Chimera, and appears to clip a referee on his way to the ice. Havlat was left a bloody mess, with his upper lip basically hanging on by a thread. This is a very graphic injury, hope you have a strong stomach. This is Havlat's face, 55 stitches later.
