NHL referees are blind and we've got proof. (VIDEOS)

The NHL was, to say the least, embarrassed last night after both games on the schedule were tainted with horrible officiating. First, in what may have been the worst call in NHL history, the Detroit Red Wings were robbed of a goal AND given a penalty all because Capitals goalie Braden Holtbyh couldn't keep his balance and tripped over himself. You can see the video of that play here: Then in the following game the Nashville Predators were also denied what was clearly a goal to everyone except the officials on the ice. The puck went into the net, long before a whistle was blown, but the official on the ice claimed that "he meant to blow it sooner" and waived off the goal. In what has to be on of the most ridiculous calls ever made the goal was ruled no good and the Predators were robbed of a tally.
