NHL Rookies are on fire!

The 2015-16 season is only a few days old and already a bunch of this years' rookies have scored their first career goals.

Last night, Dylan Larkin and Max Domi scored their first career goals. The crazy thing is that they were only the 9th and 10th rookies to score their first goals. Often we have rookies that need to play half a season to get their first goal and now we already have 10 different rookies who have scored their first goals in either their first or second games.

Here is the list of rookies who has already scored their first career goals:

Oscar Lindberg NYR (he even scored his second In his second game), Artemi Panarin CHI, Joonas Donskoi SJ, Nic Petan WPG, Jack Eichel BUF, Robby Fabbri STL, Viktor Arvidsson NSH, Mattias Janmark DAL, Dylan Larkin DET and Max Domi ARI.

It has to be a record year for how many rookies are getting their first out of the way. Funny how Connor McDavid is not on that list. I know I know, he only played one game and was pretty good. I guess we can give him a break.

I think it just goes to show how many good rookies we have in the NHL this year. Their teams must be really happy because having your rookies chip in regularly is always a big plus.
