Olli Maatta already back practicing! (Video)

Only just 7 days after having a tumor removed from his thyroid gland, Olli Maatta was back on the ice Tuesday morning at MSG. He hit the ice after his team had their morning skate. He skated around and shot some pucks. Maatta was suppose to miss 4 weeks due to recovery time from the surgery, but seeing him on the ice today definitely points to the fact that Olli wants to be back sooner than that. Having the mental toughness to go through what he did, surgery and all, is truly remarkable. practising practicing We wish you a quick and healthy return Olli!
