One of the best goals of the year! (VIDEO)

The Wild welcomed the Winnepeg Jets to Xcel today and they didn't waste any time getting on the board. With barely 2 minutes played in the very first frame Minnesota Wild forward Nino Niederreiter showed his patience and outplayed Winnipeg Jets goalie Ondrej Pavelec as he was falling to the ice. Nino someonehow got the puck on the back of his stick and scored from a ridiculous angle to give the Wild the 1-0 lead. You can watch the play here courtesy of the NHL.
