Today 42 years ago marked the end of one of the greatest iron man streaks in the history of pro sports. The streak was 502 consecutive regular season games in nets set by Blackhawk's legend Glenn Hall, a mark that has yet to be beaten. Hall began his streak in 1955 as a member of the Red Wings and it went on to span more than 7 NHL seasons, and all of this before the introduction of the goalie mask. Most fell that Hall's record will never be broken, and you can include me on that list, he's not often remembered when people discuss Blackhawk legends, so here's a video tribute to a true Blackhawks legend to remind you of just how great Glenn Hall was.
