One of the most violent hits all year, followed by a great fight! (VIDEO)

The Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins are facing off tonight, and it didn't take long for things to get heated. During the very first period, with the Bruins up 1-1, the Bruins' Matt Bartkowski absolutely leveled Brian Gionta of the Sabres.  Bartkowski was given a game misconduct for what appeared to be a questionable hit. The Buffalo Sabres' Marcus Foligno came to the aid of his downed teammate Gionta, and Bartkowski accepted the challenge and the two men engaged in one of the better fights of the season.
