Ouch! His kids are gonna feel that one! (VIDEO)

It doesn't matter what team you cheer for, you're all gonna feel sorry for Marek Zidlicky after you watch this video. During tonight's match up between the New Jersey Devils and the New york Islanders, John Tavares of the Islanders took a vicious slash at Marek Zidlicky's crotch. Luckily for Tavares he was only given two minutes, but after the game Zidlicky clearly wasn't happy.

"I don't think it was necessary," said Zidlicky. "I don't know what to say. It is what it is."

It will be interesting to see how the league will handle this one, because it was a very blatant low blow and could have easily resulted in am ore severe penalty on the ice. Here's the play:
