A hockey fan has learned a lesson the hard way, and unfortunately for the fan in question that lesson has come with a significant price tag.

An Instagram user who identifies herself as @alexandriatempleton12 has taken to social media to express her outrage over $300 seats she purchased for the World Junior Championship of Hockey this past week, seats that she clearly did not research well enough before making her purchase.

Things seemed to start off well for Alexandria with her first photo of the night actually praising the quality of the seats.

The initial joy at the quality of the seats would not last however with Alexandria's joy quickly turning into anger. As the teams began to come out of their respective locker rooms for the game the quality of the view for Alexandria, who was seated squarely behind the benches, began to rapidly deteriorate. Alexandria would post a video on her Instagram to show just how poor the visibility was from her $300 seats.

In her Instagram post, Alexandria appears to lay the blame for the problem at the feet of the German squad. According to Alexandria, the Americans who were also playing in the game did not obstruct the view with their sticks in the same manner.

"Why was this even an option for the World Juniors USA and Germany game?" she wrote on Instagram. "USA didn’t do this only Germany too!"
