Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin once again showed off the skills that make him one of the best in the world on Thursday night.

The National Hockey League superstar stunned the New Jersey Devils as well as the New Jersey crowd when he scored the opening goal of the game just over six minutes into the very first period.

Ovechkin used his body to block a pass that then went sailing into the air, he managed to track the puck, regain control of it and then beat the Devils defense as well as Devils goaltender Keith Kinkaid for a gorgeous goal.
