I would normally say I never like seeing hits like this, but this may be the exception to that rule. Adam Lowry nailed Patrick Kaleta with a nasty hit from behind last night during the Buffalo Sabres vs Winnipeg Jets match up. Kaleta is known for being one of the dirtiest players in the NHL, and in fact was suspended a whopping 5 games last year for a nasty hit on New York Ranger Brad Richards. Lowry will likely face disciplinary action, he meets with the NHL Player Safety Committee today to determine his fate.
