Penalty shot: Holtby vs Hagelin.

While the shoot out has lost it's luster for many NHL fans there is still something special about a penalty shot during the game, especially if that game is during the playoffs. We got just that on Wednesday night when the New York Rangers' Carl Hagelin was hooked on a partial break away and as a result was awarded a well deserved penalty shot. That left Washington goaltender Braden Holtby one on one with Hagelin and the result of the play was spectacular. Here's the video.
