Phaneuf levels Hornqvist then takes on Malkin (Video)

Dion Phaneuf was on a mission against the Pittsburgh Penguins, inflict as much pain as possible. Phaneuf was giving out huge hits like they were on sale tonight and there was none bigger than when he leveled Patric Hornqvist. Phaneuf saw his chance once Hornqvist receive the puck. You could almost say it was a suicide pass because as soon as Hornqvist reveived the pass and turned around to skate up ice, Dion was waiting for him and BOOM! Phaneuf sent Hornqvist flying into the boards with a clean solid hit. That was when Evgeni Malkin came in to defend his teammate who Phaneuf just obliterated. Both players dropped the gloves but Malkin pretty much held on for dear life and the refs stepped in. Way to go Dion, we look forward to see many other big hits soon!
