Player kicks opponent in the neck with his skate at World Championship

The IIHF has made a very controversial decision surrounding one of the most disturbing plays in recent memory. 

It what can only be described as an assault with a deadly weapon, Slovania's Ziga Jeglic attempted to kick his opponent in the neck with the blade of his skate, however the IIHF doesn't seem to think it's very serious.

The organization has announced that Jeglic, who should be banned for life for the offense, will only receive a two-game suspension. Here's a look at the video replay just so you can see how ridiculous this truly is.
