Pretty horrible scene in New york (VIDEO)

The Islanders barely escaped a dangerous situation in New York in tonight’s game against the Leafs. On a routine enough looking play, the Islanders Tomas Hickey falls to the ice and is a recipient of a skate blade directly to the face. Luckily Hickey skated off under his own power. Unfortunately plays like this remind us of how quickly things can go badly. Here is the entire incident:
