Preview: Blackhawks vs. Stars (Video)

The Chicago Blackhawks open the season tonight when they will face off against the Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center. The Blackhawks had the Stars number the last couple of seasons as these teams have met a total of 8 times, and the Hawks coming away with 7 victories. The Blackhawks will be without Kris Versteeg who was injured earlier this week at practice, and defenseman Michal Rozsival also is out with an upper-body injury. Forwards Daniel Carcillo and Jeremy Morin are expected to get extra playing time as a result of these absences.
