Rangers' McDonagh drilled by Jets' Kane (VIDEO)

The New York Rangers will unfortunately be without captain Ryan McDonagh for an extended period of time after he suffered a separated shoulder on this hit by Jets forward Evander Kane in last night's game. Kane crushes McDonagh into the boards on a rough check. The awkward angle in which McDonagh's shoulder strikes the board seems to be what caused the separation. This is an extremely unfortunate situation for New York as Chris Klein also suffered an injury in this game. The Rangers now find themselves bone thin on the blueline.
