It does happen at times, but it's still incredible to imagine two people from the same family reaching the highest level of a professional sport. A game today between the Vancouver Canucks and Detroit Red Wings saw two brothers facing off in the best hockey league on the planet, the NHL. The Canucks Ryan Miller was between the pipes for Vancouver while his brother Drew Miller was on the other side of the ice playing wing for Detroit. Late in the third period the unimaginable happened, Drew managed to get the puck and push it forward for a breakaway. The Miller brothers were now locked in a one on one showdown and brother Ryan came out the victor this time. To be fair to Drew, he had the Canucks Luca Sbisa draped all over him so he couldn't get off much of a shot. It was an awesome moment none the less, soomething that was made quite obvious by the reaction of the Miller family who was in attendance to watch their boys play. You can see it here courtesy of the NHL.
