It now appears that there will be a major shake up in management personnel when it comes ot the Edmonton Oilers this off season. First we had the hiring of a new CEO in the form of former Hockey Canada boss Bob Nicholson, and now reports have emerged stating that  the Oilers are meeting with some very big NHL names. According to both Elliotte Friedman and Mark Spector of Sportsnet the Oilers held a meeting today with former Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli, the assumption being that he is interviewing for a management position. This would certainly mean that at least one of Kevin Lowe or Craig MacTavish will find themselves on the unemployment line this summer. For many Oilers fans this has been a long time coming, and many more around the NHL feel that the mismanagement of a wealth of exceptionally high draft picks has marked one of the worst management jobs in NHL history.
