Report: Major update on the health of Pekka Rinne.

Nashville Predators fans rejoice, and everyone else around the league take notice, arguably the best netminder in the NHL is back. The Predators made the announcement via their official website today:

The Finnish netminder was diagnosed with a sprained knee and given a three-to-five week recovery period following the incident and has progressed steadily the past 22 days. Rinne has participated in the team's morning skates since Jan. 29, and is expected to start against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.

Rinne currently boast the second best save percentage and goals against average in the NHL, just .01 points behind Carey Price of the Canadiens in save percentage and Brian Elliott of the Blues in goals against average. He currently has the most wins by any goaltender despite missing time due to injury.
