Report: NHL Player arrested for drug possession late last night.

Despite his team missing the playoffs the Kings Jared Stoll is dominating the hockey headlines this morning. That's because late last night Stoll was arrested in Las Vegas for drug possession, allegedly cocaine and ecstacy. The timing couldn't be worse for Stoll who will be a free agent this offseason, one has to believe that his earning potential just took a serious hit. The L.A. Kings have released a statement addressing the arrest:

We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll. Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.

The NHL is believed to conducting a separate investigation into the matter, no details yet on what kind legal trouble Stoll is facing for the charges.
