Report: Red Wings home opener is going to be insane!

If you're a Red Wing or a Maple Leaf fan and for some reason you weren't looking forward to the start of hockey next season than this may tip the scales for you. While the NHL schedule has yet to be released some of the home openers have been revealed and one in particular stands out. The Red Wings will have their first home game at the Joe on October 9th and they will face former head coach Mike Babcock and his Toronto Maple Leafs. The Red Wings were obviously very excited to share the news and publish this on twitter:
