Erik Karlsson gets clotheslined by a linesman! (Video)

While Bobby Ryan’s shootout goal completed the comeback for the Ottawa Senators, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit to edge the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Tuesday, it wasn't all good for Ottawa last night. In the first minutes of the game, Sens defenseman Erik Karlsson took a vicious hit to the head from  linesman, Shane Heyer, who shockingly was not penalized on the play. Karlsson was caugth by Heyer's arm as Karlsson made a move to play the puck, right as Heyer swing his arms to indicate there would be no off side. The result was a brutal clothesline from Heyer to Karlsson, with Karlsson left bleeding from the face. You can see the play here courtesy of the NHL.
