Heard from a good source who says Sharp will be traded next week. It's been expected, but that's still a big name to lose. #Blackhawks

This isn't surprising as Sharp has been linked to some rumours for quite some time now. The 33 year-old sniper had an underwhelming season scoring only 16 goals and racking 43 points. He did however have a great playoff run, playing a big role in his team's Stanley Cup victory has he tallied 5 goals and added 10 assists in 23 games.
Rumours circulated last winter when journalist David Diehl reported that Sharp had broken a "non-written" rule in the Blackhawks locker room. Those rumours where denied by the Hawks and Sharp even considered taking legal actions against the journalist.
