Scandella might be in hot water (Video)

On the day that Marco Scandella signed a 5 year extension with the Wild, he might have to give up some of that cash. Scandella delivered a high hit to T.J. Oshie which earned him a 2 minute penalty for an illegal hit to the head. The fact the penalty was given for a hit to the head will mean that the NHL will take a look at it. The only contact ended up being to Oshie's head. Oshie shook it off and continued playing in the game. Oshie was leaning forward when Marco tried to finish his hit on T.J. and was a main reason why the contact was to the head. We will have to wait and see what the NHL player safety department decides.
