Sharks and Predators end Game 1 with a brawl.

While it looked like the San Jose Sharks may have found themselves cursed by a black cat prior to the game, they were the ones who prevailed in Game 1 of their second round series.

Despite the potential the curse the Sharks went off for five goals and eventually took Game 1 at home by a three goal margin over the Predators who were none too happy with the score at the end of the game.

Perhaps in an attempt to set the tone for Game 2, the two teams engaged in a bit of a brawl after the final whistle, although none of the players dropped the gloves, being wise enough to avoid potential suspensions for Game 2.
