The Chicago Blackhawks are one of the organizations that really tries to do the most they can to honour the men and women who serve our country. At every home game, the Blackhawks always invite a veteran and a current member of our Armed Forces onto the ice for the singing of our national anthem. They also honour them during a stoppage in play in the third period. Last December the Blackhawks did a spectacular thing for PFC Hunter Taylor. he Taylor family believed they were being honoured as a military family, little did they know they were about to get the surprise of a lifetime.
