No Supplemental discipline for Bartkowski (Video)

After Bartkowski destroyed Brian Gionta last night. There were mixed comments about the hit wondering if a suspension would follow. However, a league source at CSN New England has announced that there will be no hearing for Bartkowski and no suspension or even a fine will be handed down. Bartkowski was ejected from the game so that seems to have been enough. The main point of contact was the shoulder and Bartkowski also has a clean record. The worry was that the hit was high, obviously it doesn't help that Gionta is one of the smallest guys in the league.
