Frustrated Swiss fans expressed their outrage the wrong way, hurling beer cans and other trash onto the ice during play. TSN reporter Mike Johnson noted that he nearly got hit by one of the flying cups while reporting from the sidelines as he had to dodge "perfectly good beers."

The Canadian bench was visibly upset, and the atmosphere in the arena quickly grew tense as officials struggled to maintain control. While passion for hockey runs deep, the dangerous behavior from fans overshadowed what was otherwise a highly competitive game.

Moments like these highlight the intensity of Olympic hockey and the thin line between fan passion and chaos.

Team Canada has clinched first place in Group A with a 5-1 win over Switzerland.
