Edmonton Oilers star forward Taylor Hall suffered a scary looking injury in last night's game against the Vancouver Canucks. It was the kind of injury you never want to see any player experience. As Hall skated towards the Canucks goal with a full head of steam, he loses his footing suddenly and his right leg slams forcefully  into the goalpost. Hall was able to skate to the bench under his own power, but was in a visible amount of agony once there. Hall did not return to the game and the Oilers declined to comment on the severity of the injury. This is eerily similar to the play that left Lightning forward Steven Stamkos with a broken Tibia last season. Stamkos was forced to miss six months of action. Hopefully Hall's injury is not as serious. Details will follow:
