On Monday night 23-year-old Carolina Hurricanes forward Teuvo Teravainen took the term individual effort to a whole different level.
With his team all tied up at 1-1 against the Dallas Stars, Teravainen did his best to complete take over the game scoring a natural hat trick in the third period alone.
In fact Teravainen needed just over 7 minutes(7:05) to perform the feat, much to the delight of the Carolina Hurricanes fans in attendance who rained down their hats in a show of appreciation for their former first round draft pick.
It was the very first hat trick of Teravainen's National Hockey League career, and he accomplished it in such a way that it's likely to be quite the memorable moment in his career.
