You would think a player coming from sunny Florida to the frigid winter in Minnesota would be a little less then enthusiastic, but that's no the case with the Wild's newest player. “It will be nice to see some snow.” That was Sean Bergenheim speaking
"It will be nice to see some snow."That was Sean Bergenheim speaking to Rachel Blount of the Star Tribune today about the newest chapter in his NHL career. Bergehim is from Finland, and not only is the cold not a problem for him, he welcomes it, and he's gonna have some Finnish friends to keep him company in Mikko Koivu and Mikael Granlund to keep him company. Bergenheim made it clear that he isn't taking this new opportunity lightly, he's come to Minnesota with the intention of contributing to the team's success.
"I think there's something I can give to this team. I want to bring energy, I want to bring forechecking, I want to bring pressure in the offensive zone. I want to get the pucks to the net, get myself to the net, and hopefully score some goals for this team.''The Wild like in the only other trade this made this year didn't give up a ton to get Bergenheim, and if Chuck Flecther's 2nd deal works out anywhere near as well as his first one, the Wild will have gotten themselves a steal.
