Things get nasty between two former teammates! (VIDEO)

The Montreal Canadiens were on the road in Buffalo taking on some of their former teammates from last season. You would think the former allies would show a little respect for one another, and if you thought so you'd be very wrong. Very late in the third period Canadiens Alexei Emelin took a run at the head of former Canadien and current Sabre Brian Gionta. Whole Gionta didn\t do himself any favors by ducking low, it was clear Emelin  was aiming for the head, and even lifted his arm as he tried to take off Gionta's head.
