Tom Wilson 'Crush, Kill, Destroy on Zadorov.'

This is one of those hits that gets you out of your chair.

Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson had been on the ice for all of about 5 seconds before he completely destroyed Colorado Avalanche defenseman Nikita Zadorov. Wilson hoped off the Washington bench, headed straight for the back of the Avalanche net, and caught Zadorov making his way around back before going, as the broadcast team put it, "crush, kill, destroy," on Zadorov.

It was a beautiful hit, but unfortunately for Zadorov it was also a devastating one, and he stayed down on the ice for several moments, noticeably shaken up by the impact. Despite the injury to Zadorov, this was a textbook hit from Wilson, and likely won't be looked at by the NHL.
