Tom Wilson destroys Watson with heavy punches on Thursday night.

The start of the fight looked like it was headed for a hug-fest, but that was not the case at all.

Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson and Nashville Predator's forward Austin Watson engaged in a spirited fight on Thursday night after Wilson laid a big hit on Nashville's Mattias Ekholm.

While Waston did get some shots of his own in on Wilson, it became clear towards the end of the fight that Wilson's power was too much for Watson to handle. Unfortunately for Watson he took several big punches before going down, receiving quite the beat down from Wilson as a reward for sticking up for his  teammate.
