Touching moment as the Burns family speaks at Hall of Fame. (VIDEO)

Pat Burns was finally inducted in the Hall of Fame last night, he was represented by his wife Line and his son Jason. It was an emotional moment, filled with laughter, tears, and even some anger. Anger because many feel that Burns should have been inducted as a builder before lung cancer took his life back in 2010. Line Burns made mention of this in her speech:

"at his first Hall of Fame induction opportunity, a lot of people were outraged he didn't make it in. A lot of people but him."

Still it's hard to imagine why he didn't get this honor sooner, 3 Jack Adams awards with 3 different teams, more than any coach in history, and he won a championship both at the junior level and at the professional level. Line Burns was asked how she thinks her husband would have reacted to being honored,

"He would've been so honoured. He would've been very humbled — probably speechless for the first time in his life."
