"Hextall was one of the most active GMs trying to make a deal during their meeting Tuesday in Toronto. Ideally, he would like to get a winger and a defenceman to help his struggling club. There is no question Hextall doesn’t want to sit still. He’s open for business, but as is usually the case it’s difficult to find someone else who wants to make changes with the salary cap tight."Garrioch believes it's only a matter of time before Lecavalier and Umberger are playing with new teams, what the Flyers can expect in return however is still unclear. One of the names mentioned in trade talks is currently injured left winger Joffrey Lupul of the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Leafs are rumored to be in the market for a center, but Lecavalier's $4.5 million dollar per year cap hit that runs through the 2017-2018 season is not is one many teams are interested in taking on with the current salary cap concerns.
