Ottawa Senators head coach Travis Green is getting started early when it comes to building animosity with the National Hockey League officials overseeing the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Green and his Senators faced off against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday in Game 1 of their opening round playoff series, and it would be during that game's second period that Green would completely lose his cool.

Green was furious after a too many men call roughly midway through the game's second period, a too many men call that did seem a little chintzy for the Stanley Cup playoffs. The camera stayed on Green for a long time following the call, giving us a great look at the obscenities that Green was yelling in the direction of the NHL officials.

First let's take a look at the replay of the incident that led to the call:

You may not have caught it but the skate of Senators forward Mike Amadio touched the puck as he was heading off the ice. It was so hard to see Amadio because about 90% of his body was already on the Senators bench at the time of the infraction, something that I believe played heavily into why Green was so furious.
