Never has a player made more of an immediate impact on a team than Trevor Linden did after the Canucks drafted him second overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. From the moment he put on the jersey, fans knew he was meant to lead the team. A versatile forward, he began his career on the wing and developed into a center for the good of the team. In 1382 games, Linden scored 375 times and added 492 assists. Although he put up impressive offensive statistics, it's his leadership skill that was by far his most coveted asset.
